La Carmela De Boracay Hotel Manoc-Manoc, Manoc-Manoc

The hotel rooms were a little too crowded for us, so we opted for 2 rooms via Agoda. Each room accommodates 4 people, but we were only given 2 breakfast stubs per room. The initial room temperature was uncomfortably hot upon arrival.

The hotel offers pleasant rooms right at the heart of Boracay beach, but lacking in storage options with no drawers provided. The strong smell of Downy Fabric Conditioner can be overwhelming. To accommodate our needs, we had to book 2 rooms via Agoda.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's great location, although not facing the beach directly, it is convenient and offers a pleasant stay. The room, despite some exposed wires from a past chandelier, provided a comfortable experience for a semi-deluxe room. The service was a mixed bag with some exceptional moments like receiving a birthday cake but also experiencing cleanliness issues during my stay. The location offers an interesting mix of being central and slightly outdated but still enjoyable. Dining options were limited, and the facilities were average with cleanliness concerns but overall decent.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the hotel. While the location was convenient, being surrounded by various restaurants and stores, the rooms lacked privacy, and there was an unpleasant view from the window due to a leaky sewage issue. The dining experience was below expectations with subpar food quality, although the positive side was the hotel's proximity to the beach.
